X Chest Rig

When run with a harness, the X Chest Rig maintains a low profile capable of being worn fully loaded under a normal/loose fit jacket or sweatshirt without overtly printing. When run as a placard on an armor platform with a quick release system, the chest rig can be attached or stowed in seconds giving the end user the versatility to transition from low vis to high vis or vice versa.

The four integrated magazine pouches were dimensioned for carriage of 5.56x45, 5.45x39, and 7.62x35 magazines utilizing the adjustable shock cord and pull-tab retention system for secure storage. The back of the integrated magazine pouches also features nylon webbing for the addition of MP2 Inserts (sold separately). MP2 Inserts provide secure retention of nearly all rifle magazines without the need for bungee cords, buckles, or hook and loop flaps.

The X Chest Rig features four center mounted utility pouches constructed with elastic for streamlined carriage of pistol magazines, flashlights, utility tools, or 37mm/40mm grenades.

The front of the chest rig features two VELCRO® Brand hook and loop closure admin pouches for storage of smaller equipment such as compasses, GPS, laser range finders, and similar sized items.

The back panel of the X Chest Rig includes a full field of VELCRO® Brand hook for secure attachment to plate carriers when ran as a placard. Chest Rig Pads (sold separately) can be added when operating under heavier loadouts. The hook backer is also cross compatible with all Wedge Expansion System products (sold separately) including the Double Rifle Mag Wedge, Holster Wedge, Admin Wedge, and 6.25" Shears Wedge creating a highly modular platform capable of scaling to meet a multitude of mission requirements.

The optional X-Harness provides load bearing comfort across a wide variety of body shapes and sizes. The slip loop shoulder strap system enables users to quickly don/doff. The optional H-Harness is a combat tested and battle proven load bearing harness. The optional H-Harness provides a uniform fitment across the neckline resulting in more effective weight distribution to the back and shoulders typically preferred when worn with large packs/rucks, carrying heavier loadouts, or for individuals with broader shoulders. All Haley Strategic Harnesses include a waist strap (“belly band” or “back strap”) as well as 1 Column with 3 Rows of MOLLE webbing on both straps for cable management of radios, PTTs, hydration tubes, compasses, EUD bridges, GPS and other similar sized items.

The X Chest Rig was disruptively engineered for direct integration with the Side Saddles, Multi-Mission Hanger, FlatPack and FlatPack Plus (no additional accessories required) providing operators the ability to expand and customize their kit to meet any mission requirement.

Note: The X Chest Rig is compatible with most industry standard plate carriers that can be outfitted with 1” ITW Nexus female buckles including: Spiritus Systems (LV119 Covert and LV119 OVERT), Ferro Concepts (FCPC v5 and Slickster), Velocity Systems (Scarab LT), Shaw Concepts (ARC v2), and Defense Mechanisms (Mission Essential Plate Carrier).
