The Thorntail X M-LOK Offset Light Mount provides optimal weapon light positioning in a minimalist footprint. The M-LOK Offset Light Mount enables light placement in four positions around the rail and includes four mounting offsets enabling adequate clearance for LAMs, “Laser Aiming Modules” and thumb-over-bore light activation.

Note: This product is designed for use on M-LOK handguards and rails.

Built for strength, Thorntail X mounts are machined from 7075-T6 Aluminum and MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodized resulting in a mount that exhibits nearly twice the tensile strength of competing light mounts using industry standard 6061-T6 Aluminum.

Thorntail X mounts are compatible with Surefire: M600 (B/C/P/U/DF/V), M603V, M612 (V), M622 (V), M300 (A/B/C/V), M312 (V), M313 (V), M322 (V); Streamlight: ProTac HL-X (88066/88071); Cloud Defensive: REIN (1.0/2.0/3.0), REIN Micro (1.0/2.0/3.0); Modlite: OKW, PLH (v2); Arisaka: 300 Series, 600 Series, 18650 Series; Olight: Odin.

Product Liability Thorntail X MLOK Offset Light Mount

This manual should be read by all persons who have or will have the responsibility for using or maintaining this product. Any warranties by Haley Strategic Partners LLC with respect to this product are voided if the product is not used and maintained in accordance with the instructions in this manual. The following are general safety warnings intended to call attention to the fundamental performance limitations and areas of the product where proper usage must be followed. Failure to use and maintain the product according to the instructions and warnings contained herein may result in the product failing to perform as designed, and/or the persons relying on this product sustaining serious personal injury and/or death.

  • WARNING: Before Installation, remove all ammunition from the work area and secure it properly. Ensure the weapon is unloaded and the safety selector is switched to the “SAFE” position. Carefully inspect the chamber to verify it is empty and clear of ammunition.
  • Using a 5/64” Hex tool (not supplied), fasten the weapon light body to the Thorntail X M-LOK Offset Light Mount using the supplied Light Body Screws (torque to approximately 20 in-lbs) DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN, Then using a T25 Torx tool (not supplied), fasten the Thorntail X M-LOK Offset Light Mount to the M-LOK rail using the supplied M-LOK Mount Screw and T-Nut (torque to 30 in-lbs) DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN; Ensure there is no “play” or forward/backward movement once tightened (Loctite 222 or 243 may be used on threaded fasteners).
  • Inspect the product for discoloration, chemical contamination, excessive UV light exposure, abrasions or cracks before and after each use. If the product fails inspection, it must be destroyed or repaired by the manufacturer before further use.
  • DO NOT alter the product in any way.
  • DO NOT use this product except in its intended manner.
  • All replacement parts must be acquired from Haley Strategic Partners LLC or a licensed distributor.

Thorntail X Weapon Mounts

Thorntail X Mounts carry a limited lifetime warranty. Any Thorntail X Mount that is broken, smashed, destroyed, or defective will be replaced free of charge. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferrable. Proof of purchase will be required. 

EXCEPT FOR THE FOREGOING WARRANTY, SUPPLIER MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR OTHERWISE, AND SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS (i) ANY WARRANTY OR MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE WITH RESPECT TO PRODUCTS, AND (ii) ANY LIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO ANY PRODUCTS THAT, AFTER DELIVERY TO CUSTOMER, CUSTOMER HAS ALTERED, MODIFIED OR TAMPERED WITH, SUBJECT TO MISUSE, NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE DAMAGED, OR HAVE BEEN STORED, HANDLED, OR USED IN A MANNER CONTRARY TO APPLICABLE LAWS OR REGULATIONS OR SUPPLIER’S DIRECTION.
