The GPZIP Pouch Suite (General Purpose, Zippered) was designed for modularity and scalability. The main zippered pouch is lined with low pile loop to accept GPZIP Inserts (sold separately) for complete flexibility in organization configuration. The pouch gusset is made from X-Pac®, a durable waterproof composite that incorporates aramid fibers, for an extremely robust construction that features laser cut drainage and cable passthroughs. On the outboard face, a zippered kangaroo pouch gives extra storage for smaller items. The GPZIP Pouches are compatible with any MOLLE platform and can also be ran as a placard insert when used with the included hook-to-hook tape. The bottom of the GPZIP features a woven elastic sleeve, specifically sized for Tourniquet stowage.
The Medium GPZIP Pouch was derived from the starboard pouch of the legacy Heavy Chest Rig featuring a similar footprint with added depth. This new form factor enables carriage of everything from field notebooks, a complete IFAK, or (2) M83 smoke grenades.
