Mission-Built for the Modern JTAC
The Controller FlatPack Plus was developed in direct collaboration with Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTACs). Engineered from the ground up for communications professionals and operators and built with advanced materials, mission-specific features, and next-generation adaptability. The Controller FlatPack Plus provides an additional 3 liters of storage capacity compared to the Controller FlatPack.
- X-PAC® shell - Constructed from X-Pac laminate for a lightweight, waterproof exterior and reinforced with aramid fibers allowing additional ports or vents to be directly cut into the pack without propagating tears.
- 21 integrated power/data/antenna ports - Intentionally distributed across all zippered compartments for internal and external cable passthrough/routing.
- Sealable ventilation ports - Located on the top and sides of the FlatPack for active heat dissipation for radios, power sources, and data adapters during continuous operation.
- MOLLE/shock cord side panels - Low profile design secures antenna leads, cables, and accessories.
- Redesigned Expanding Gussets - Expands to accommodate the modern suite of communications equipment in seconds, with enhanced load stability for smoother movement under pressure.
- Next-Gen Shoulder Straps w/ Laser-Cut MOLLE - Ergonomically profiled for long-haul comfort and optimized with integrated cable routing.
- TABLOC™ attachment system - Tool-less rapid attachment system compatible with the FlatPack accessory panels (GP Panel and MOLLE Panel)
- Umbilical Cord - Designed to keep cables bundled, reducing snag hazards when running cables from comms packs to EUDs and PTTs.
- STNGR™ Board organization system - Constructed from CURV®, a self-reinforced thermoplastic composite for superior impact strength, stiffness, and weight savings with VELCRO® Brand High Technology Hook backer for unmatched adhesion to any loop surface.
- Dual Handheld Radio STNGR™ Board – Capable of carrying any two radios powered by PRC-152 MBITR batteries (MPU-5, PRC-163, PRC-161, PRC-148).
- PRC-117G STNGR™ Board –Delivers secure carriage of the L3 Harris AN/PRC-117G Manpack Radio with rapid access for battery swap.
- General Purpose STNGR™ Board –Purpose built panel for auxiliary batteries and hubs, the GP Pocket can house 2x Galvion Solopack™ batteries while the organization system accommodates hubs as large as the GlenAir® STAR-PAN VI.
- STNGR™ Board – A modular organization panel with a MOLLE/shock cord organization system for radios, breaching tools, medical equipment, and other essential items.
