The Darter® Tanto is a purpose-built utility blade engineered for field use, outdoor applications, gear integration, and everyday carry. Constructed from premium CPM S35VN steel and heat-treated to approximately 60 Rockwell hardness, the blade offers exceptional edge retention, durability, and corrosion resistance in demanding environments. The tanto blade profile provides added tip strength and precision for controlled cutting and detailed tasks. Signature reverse serrations on the spine add functional versatility, while the KG Gunkote finish enhances surface protection and long-term durability. Laser-engraved Haley Strategic and Toor Knives logos complete the design, while thumb jimping on the spine and butt end improves handling and control.
The Shadow Black Darter Tanto features textured black G10 handle scales with red liners. Inspired by the wing pattern of the Darter Dragonfly, the grip texture provides a secure hold in wet or adverse conditions. Additional features include a retention lanyard hole and stainless steel Torx hardware designed for long-term reliability.
Each Darter Tanto includes a custom-molded KYDEX® sheath with adjustable retention and a friction offset to minimize movement inside the sheath. The sheath comes equipped with mounting hardware and an UltiClip Slim 3.3 attachment for secure integration with packs, belts, or gear systems.
Every Darter Tanto is individually serialized, making each piece uniquely identifiable and highly collectible. Combining premium materials, precision manufacturing, and functional design, the Darter Tanto reflects the craftsmanship and heritage of this iconic collaboration.
