Item Description

Disruptive Environment, or D3, Precision Rifle (LE Focus) is a performance-first course that accelerates the learning curve for shooters seeking reliable, repeatable precision at extended ranges. It integrates external ballistics, shooter biomechanics, mental processing, applied ballistics, and deliberate practice through classroom instruction and on-range data collection. You’ll build and develop the mechanical and cognitive systems needed to produce consistent first-shot accuracy across changing range and environmental conditions.

OVERVIEW

Disruptive Environment, or D3, is an advanced, multi-day applications course that accelerates next-level skill development for experienced shooters from responsible armed citizens to active MIL and LEO. Building upon the fundamentals taught in D5, D3 pushes into applied, real-world skillsets and tactics: Ballistics, low-light and night vision operations, vehicle operations and cover considerations, home and business defense, and the challenges of urban vs. rural environments. This immersive curriculum blends lecture, demonstration, and deliberate practice with all your mission essential tools while shooting, moving, and communicating under pressure training students to turn knowledge into decisive action. Each participant completes a baseline assessment for safety, speed, accuracy, and manipulations to ensure readiness. Prior foundational training (D5 or other reputable organization) is required, and strict safety standards are enforced throughout.

Warning

This course should not be selected if you have not been through a foundational course with us (D5/D7 Courses) or another reputable organization/instructor. All advanced application students must have fundamental weapon safety and weapon manipulation knowledge. A baseline assessment on safety, speed, accuracy, manipulations, and movement is conducted upon arrival to determine if students current skill levels are adequate to safely proceed through the course. Students will be pulled from training for safety violations.

  • Professionals who require dependable precision (military, LE, or security roles).

  • Experienced recreational shooters and competitors who want a data-driven foundation to extend effective range.

  • Those seeking better performance and understanding in balancing speed and accuracy at shorter to intermediate distances.

What each student walks away with:

  • Ballistic data logs and range reports you can use to recreate results across rifles, optics, and ammunition.

  • Practical understanding and use of precision tools: rangefinder work, ballistic apps/charts, DOPE cards, and spotter optics.

  • Environmental/atmospheric diagnostics: how temperature, wind, barometric pressure, humidity, and density altitude change your solutions and how to adjust on the fly.

  • Shooter-spotter communication protocols and call-for-fire style reporting for efficient engagements.

  • Position and platform mastery: mechanical efficiency from bipods, tripods, supported positions, improvised positions, and rapid employment of a precision rig.

  • Building and breaking down shooting positions efficiently.

  • Building and Vehicle hide construction and considerations.

  • An actionable improvement plan (what to practice, how many reps, what metrics to track) and baseline evidence.
