D3 - Disruptive Environments

The Disruptive Environment, or D3 course is an advanced applications program tailored for experienced shooters, including military personnel, law enforcement officers, and responsible armed citizens. This course builds on the foundational skills established in our D5 curriculum, transitioning from essential fundamentals to the next level of performance in low-light and no-light scenarios, vehicle and cover considerations, and strategies for home and business defense in both urban and rural settings. 

Night Observation Devices (NODs) are game changers and a significant investment, yet without proper training, the tool is far less effective. Our D3 NODs program establishes a fundamental understanding of night vision application, capabilities, and limitations and how those factors impact shooting performance. Every aspect of fundamental weapons manipulation and employment will be executed and explored under night vision in this foundational course curriculum tailored for beginner to intermediate NODs users.

This is an intensive, data-driven handgun course that prioritizes movement, stability, and position work for experienced shooters. Through high rep, diagnostics-based training, you’ll build repeatable, fight-ready positional mechanics and learn to move tactically while retaining speed and hit performance.

Disruptive Environment, or D3, Precision Rifle (LE Focus) is a performance-first course that accelerates the learning curve for shooters seeking reliable, repeatable precision at extended ranges. It integrates external ballistics, shooter biomechanics, mental processing, applied ballistics, and deliberate practice through classroom instruction and on-range data collection. You’ll build and develop the mechanical and cognitive systems needed to produce consistent first-shot accuracy across changing range and environmental conditions.

Developed in collaboration with LaRosa Training Services, this integrated three-day program combines Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) with Haley Strategic's foundational Night Observation Devices (NODs) curriculum. Students begin by developing practical trauma management skills for low-light environments before transitioning into the effective employment of night vision equipment, weapons manipulation, and live-fire application under NODs. Together, the program provides a complete introduction to operating and managing casualties in reduced-visibility environments.
