The Thorntail X light mount lineup represents a disruptive redesign of past Haley Strategic light mounts. Thorntail X mounts were engineered with three salient goals: maintain a minimal footprint, enable end user flexibility, and provide rugged durability.

Thorntail X 1913 Laser
The Thorntail X 1913 Laser Light Mount is designed for optimal use at the 3:00 or 9:00 clock positions providing adequate clearance for most standard LAMs, “Laser Aiming Modules” (PEQ-15, DBAL, NGAL, etc.). The low profile design replaces the stock Picatinny (1913) rail adapter positioning the light closer to the rail while maintaining clearance for lasers. The 1913 Laser Light Mount enables light placement in four positions around the rail with adequate clearance for laser aiming modules (1:30, 4:30, 7:30, or 10:30 clock positions).
Note: The Thorntail X 1913 Laser Light Mount is not compatible with the B.E. Meyers MAWL.

Thorntail X Quick Detach Mount
The Thorntail X 1913 QD Sling Mount gives the end user options on where to mount a sling point providing a 45 degree offset for a lower profile, ambidextrous, snag resistant, anti-rotational, QD Swivel Socket attachment point. The 1913 QD Sling Mount is ideal for two-point slings and accepts all standard QD Sling Swivels or can be used as an attachment point for other types of sling hardware (HK Hooks, ULoop, paracord, etc.).

Quick Detach Combo
The QD Combo Sling Mount (Quick Detach) combines the Thorntail X 1913 QD Sling Mount and the QD End Plate enabling attachment of two-point slings using QD Sling Swivels to most standard ARs/M4s.

The D3 Sling is the result of over 15 years of special operations use, revision and improvement, delivering a versatile platform intuitive to the point where the rifle becomes a natural extension of the body.
